CANYON LIGHT

Canyon Light is a 40 by 30 inch oil on canvas painting. Throughout the painting you will see elements of line, negative space, a limited palette and a play with light and dark. It was the light that I wanted to capture and how it illuminates rocks and casts shadows within crevices. Soothing and peaceful, untouched by us. Still and solid, in its natural habitat.
